
Purpose/Objectives:
- Promote, encourage and develop the sport of golf for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Albertans.
- Coordinate golf activities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Albertans in affiliations with the Alberta Deaf Sports Association (ADSA) and the Canadian Deaf Golf Association (CDGA).
- Promote competitive and recreational golf for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing Albertans.
- Support the golfers to participate in national and international tournaments/championships.

The Alberta Deaf Golf Tournament was founded by Rob Cundy
in 1979 and he was the golf chairman of FSSA. From 1985 to
1989, no ADGC tournaments were played because Edmonton Deaf
Golf Club was established and dissolved. |
